This would be a completely separate game and would include a remake of the original game with improved gameplay/graphics, a new sequel scenario, and (maybe) even a level editor. Quick update:
While I've decided to not proceed with a new Myth Bearer game, I have been working on something very similar that I have yet to announce. Looking forward to sharing what that is soon. ;)
I would love to see a follow up to Myth Bearer. Deep Rune was cool, but a bit too much for my personal tastes, whereas Myth Bearer felt just right.

Myth Bearer is so unique! I've never played another game with mechanics like it. I'd be very interested to play more!
Myth Bearer is great! I think of it often and wish there were more games like it. I would be very happy to see any and all of the things you mentioned come to fruition.
